Donald G. Boan, CPA
Mr. Boan has over twenty five years of financial management, capital funding, and operations experience. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. For the past seventeen years he has served as the Treasurer and Business Manager of CGL’s Planning Group, and has served on the board of directors of several technology companies. Along with his financial and administration duties at CGL, he also supports CGL’s clients on complex cost-benefit analysis, efficiency studies, and funding alternatives.
Mr. Boan was a founding member of a start-up technology company where he served as Chief Financial Officer until the company was acquired by a leading international business process automation company. Prior to joining CGL, he served as Vice-President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer of a venture-backed environmental company, and as Controller of a Fortune 500 environmental company.
Mr. Boan is a registered CPA in the State of South Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association.
