HAITI RELIEF
Responding to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, the Carter Goble Lee Companies are matching employee contributions to Health through Walls. The non-governmental agency has been working with the Haitian Prison Authority since 2001 to support efforts of health and sanitation. Click here to learn more about Health through Walls

The Carter Goble Lee Companies are celebrating 35 years of providing client solutions. Founded in 1974, CGL is recognized internationally for providing expertise in developing programs and plans for governments, justice, and correctional systems and facilities.
Events
October 2009 International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva, Switzerland. Bob Goble was invited to participate in a multi national, 3-day roundtable focused on recommending appropriate guidelines for prisoner accommodation to be used in post-conflict jurisdications and developing nations.

Congratulations to Don Boan, Ben Crooks, and Chloe Jaco for becoming stock holding principals of CGL.
Jim Pagett has joined CGL as Director of Business Development and will be located in the Columbia, SC office when not on the road in pursuit of additional opportunities for our services. He comes to CGL after 17 years in the commercial real estate development and property management business, with the last 12 years spent in South Carolina. Jim has just completed a two year study from Kenan-Flagler Business School/ The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree.
Kerry Finkes has joined CGL as a Program Manager. He comes to CGL after over 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Construction Contract Specialist on various projects in Texas, Pennsylvania, Florida and California.
Congratulations to Chloe Jaco, Anders Kaufmann, Barbara Kemp, and Ervin West for becoming a LEED Accrediated Professional (AP).
COMMUNITY
CGL has established an endowed scholarship through Clemson University Foundation to assist students studying architecture, planning, or construction management in the College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated an interest in international consulting or are enrolled in a Clemson University students-abroad program in Genoa, Italy or Barcelona, Spain.
